Warehouse Conversion
Increasingly, hip, loft-dwelling clients are insisting on cutting edge design that incorporates cutting edge materials and technology.
We were asked to design and build a conversion of an old warehouse space in East London. This included extending the property up onto the existing roof to create a bedroom and terrace.
The property combines an extensive use of reclaimed materials with modern technology. The floors throughout are reclaimed oak boards, the bar top made from old chemistry desks and the bathroom floor reclaimed teak from an old sailing boat.
Cast concrete stairs link the sound insulated bedroom and terrace to the main living area.
